THE Perfect road atlas for France5
I compared the Michelin A4 guide against other guides. To me the Michelin guide is much more detailed, and is a perfect size for the car
Also saved £4.55 through Amazon to the RRP, and received it the day after ordering it, even though I'd selected the free postage option - great service.

Don't leave Calais without it (but choose the other one)4
You wouldn't want to drive in France without it, would you ? What do you mean SatNav ?
Shame about the spiral binding. It's good because you can fold it over on itself so the "co-pilot" can have it on his/her lap without blocking the view in the wing mirror (yes, that had caused arguments, but not accidents, in our car) but it doesn't stand up to rough treatment. If you are a hardcore traveller in France, get the "paperback" version. It also has larger scale "routefining" map at the beginning for planning and separate motorway maps with peages, childrens play areas, services etc.

Not as good as previous versions...4
While I still say don't drive in France without it, the little symbol for Michelin-listed Camping Sites has been removed. This is a big disappointment for the camping fraternity.

I suppose SatNav is taking over (some campsite websites give their Long & Lat now), but you still a need a decent map to get the overal picture and work out alternatives when the SatNav fails, tries to send you the wrong way up a one way street or is just plain out of date.

This is your decent map of roads in France!
