The Dunlop Trigger Capo is made from aircraft quality aluminium and needs only one hand to operate it. The trigger spring gives a strong grip and is easy to change making it a fast and reliable capo. It's finished in black. This capo is for 6 or 12 string acoustic guitars but can also used for electric guitars.

My Favourite
I prefer this style of Trigger capo as I find it the easyist to grip with arthritis in my fingers. It only takes me a couple of seconds to move or remove and only a couple more to place for the first time. There are several models that all look the same in the picture so it is important to make sure you have the correct one for your guitar. Most are designed for radiussed fingerboards to suite steel strung guitars, however, they make a flat one for Classical/Spannish guitars and a thiner model for electric. It does make a difference as I have all three for different guitars. This model will suit most steel strung acoustics.
Trigger happy.
I bought this capo on the strength of the pre-existing review on the product page. I'm very happy to report it's a brilliant investment and although it's 3 times more expensive than many other capos you can find, it's worth it, especially if you use an expensive guitar, because it won't pull, catch on or snag any strings, scratch the neck of the guitar or be difficult to apply or remove and provides a professional appearance and sound augmentation. An essential piece of kit for any acoustic or electro-acoustic guitarist, and the best capo I've tried.
