Synopsis
Argues that the next bear market is right around the corner. The author shows how the record-long bull market of the 1990s has excited and enticed investors as never before in history. He argues that the coming bear market will be the longest and most severe since 1929, with a decline of at least 50

Customer Reviews

This is excellent and you must read it5
This is a great book. Look at all the other 5 star reviews.

It is very readable and enjoyable. It sheds light on some of the shonky / cunning / not what you expected behaviour of big names of the past - and present.

Reading this will give you a perspective on a plunging market that will allow you to:

1. get out quick smart 2. if you didn't get out quick smart, to get out but not feel like too much of a fool 3. to know when to get out 4. when to get back in again

Most importantly it will help you make money, rather than lose money.

I am afraid this review does not do the book justice, so in summary: just get it, if you cannot afford this little book you CERTAINLY cannot afford to have anything to do with the market, furthermore, it is very good reading, good information, depth of perspective, a respected author and by far one of the best stock books I have read, and I have read many many stock books.

PS: it is also quite funny in parts.

Best investing book I've read in years.5
I learned more from this book than from expensive seminars I've attended. Easy to read. Hard to put down. The seasonal timing system for making gains even in bear markets is an eye-opener.

stunning insight into seasonal stockmarket action5
As a broker i have read many market books - this book has the most stunning insights into seasonal market behavior and risk avoidance i have ever come across. The author does not mention the cost of transactions in following his seasonal timing system - thats my only criticism. Overall its the best $11 I've ever spent. Well done Sy.
