Manufacturer's Description

If the customer already has a GPS enabled handheld computer (PDA) and it has an operating system of Windows Mobile 5 or later, then clearly there is no need to buy another unit, when you can buy the software on its own, and install into your own, personal device at a significantly reduced price.

However, should their device not have an internal GPS receiver but does have a Bluetooth facility, then the GPS version of the software is still a viable option to buy, if they were to buy an external GPS receiver.

Good but .....
This system seems to have all of the right functions I have it installed on an HTC touch HD and it all seems OK.

However; the downloaded courses which you have to pay extra for once you have the basic software leave something to be desired, the hole numbers on my course were all jumbled up which made it impossible to follow when on the course, to try and find the correct hole would have taken too long and I would have been holding up following players. I contacted the manufacturers 3 weeks ago and provided the details of the problems I have not heard from them since, I still cannot use the downloaded courses on the fairway. When you get the correct hole it is very good.

If you've already got a PDA loaded winth windows mobile 5 or better this software turns it into an excellent GPS distance measurement device for use on virtually any golf course. Fantastic value at half the RRP you would pay for it from the manufacturer and better than most other bits of similar kit where you have to buy the hardware also.

Cannot determine how good the software is because I could not get beyond the first screen.
Beware! Although this software is compatible with Windows Mobile 5 onwards, a screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels is essential, so if you have a square display on your device do not even consider it.
