Brilliant book for Beauty Therapy students
I borrowed this book from the library for more in-depth instructions for hand massage strokes and do not want to give it back! The illustrations and instructions for the above are really good. The book is so detailed in every subject required for assignments and practical assessments for NVQ2 Beauty Therapy, that you simply have no excuse for not passing them (within reason of course lol).

The massage, eye make-up and nail section answered every question that I was unsure of.

This book should be on every College Beauty Therapy Recommendation list!
Whilst studying my Higher National Diploma in Beauty Therapy way back in 1991; this book was a truly wonderful insight in to the traditional; practical; and theoretical aspects of Beauty Therapy. Written in an informative style; its updated version still offers in depth step by step procedures to salon treatments. As I am now a lecturer; this book still continues to be a favourite of mine as a classic and traditional academic text of Beauty Therapy that I use to plan lessons. Every College offering Beauty Therapy courses should recommend this book. Ann Gallant beyond doubt understands the importance of being perceptive to beauty clients needs and offering outstanding salon client care.
