short lived spells
The wand was great, intitially, lots of good sound and light effects when casting spells. When the batteries appeared to die after a week I put it down to the fact the the on button seemed to be going off in the package during transit and that had used up the power prematurely. I duly replaced them and all worked again but only for a few days this time so now I think it's actually faultly and a bit of a disappointment overall. My daughter has gone back to using a trusty hb pencil for her wand in her battles with two brothers.
Perhaps I should take this up with the suppliers as the toy itself when working was pretty good but I always suspicious of toys that are marketed as overtly 'interactive' - generally the kids own imagination will beat any of this hands down, certainly in the case of our 7 year old anyway.
