Synopsis
Low-carb cooking. So, meat for breakfast, meat for lunch and meat for dinner, with a side helping of cream, right? Wrong. How about onion bhajias, sesame stir-fried duck and a fabulously retro Black Forest trifle for pudding (yes! pudding!). If you're very good, we'll even show you how to make a low-carb cheese and ham toastie. Here is the most ingenious, least diety diet food in the world - but eating this way has resulted in tens of thousands of women losing unbelievable amounts of weight. Packed with brand spanking new recipes from the authors and Bee Rawlinson - a veritable Nigella for low-carbers - this book features over 100 delicious and simple recipes for breakfasts, snacks, soups, main meals, treats and desserts, including quick and easy recipes which just use five ingredients; food for people who live alone and want something wonderful to eat that doesn't involve six different pans and new ways to make you love your veg. Plus ideas for canapis, travelling and picnic snacks, breakfast alternatives and lots more... With each recipe geared to a phase in the Idiot-Proof Diet, this fantastic cookbook will inspire you, delight you, and - best of all - make you shrink like you wouldn't believe.

Customer Reviews
This is a brilliant cookbook!
These recipes are wonderful - I defy anyone looking at it to (a) believe it is a 'diet' book and (b) to not be able to find anything they'd like to eat. It works so well with the IPD; this whole way of eating is completely wonderful and healthy. I spent many years getting fat. Since buying the IPD a year ago I have lost two and a half stone and it is still coming off, while I am eating fabulous food and improving my health.
To those who criticise this way of eating, I would say: don't compare it with other weight loss systems - just try it, it works; and don't don't compare us with French women - this is about losing weight, not about being slim in the first place and maintaining it.
Thanks Bee, Neris and India - you've changed my life!

An inspiration, real, proper food using sensible stuff not odd things which can never be found. Buy it with the Idiot Proof Diet Book (pink bible ) and join the forum if you want to change your lives.
This is a must have!
Inspirational
My husband buys me a cookbook every Christmas. It's a standing joke because he does all the cooking. By the time I get the next one, I can do 1 or 2 recipes. This book, along with the way of eating, has changed all that. I am cooking all the time and really enjoying it. My husband is really enjoying eating the food (and he doesn't know that I am on a "diet"). If I can get enthused by making truly delicious food, then anyone can.
