An excellent dvd. Comprises two discs; The first includes a series of helpful questionnaires, which you answer using your dvd remote. Depending on you the answers you give, Gillian McKeith will give you her opinion on what you need to do, at the end of each set of questions.

Gives a lot of information on symtoms you may be experiencing and recommends foods to avoid, supplements to take etc. For example, pimples on different areas of your face are related to different parts of the body. Pimples around the mouth area may be hormone related. Recommends the herb agnus castus for this, amongst other things. Many other conditions and remedies are listed. Using the first disc, you can print out, amongst other things, a list of recipe ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a list of Farmers Markets around the UK.

The second disc focuses on good food; where to buy it, how to prepare it, delicious and easy recipes etc. Gillian goes round the shops herself and gives you examples of the range of healthy foods available. You can then go back time and time again and select, using your dvd player, which section/recipe you want to view again. Also included are some exersices you can incorporate into your daily routine.

I have found the dvd a great help. I think with all the write-ups now about what's actually going into our foods and how harmful it is for us to consume, it's great to have such helpful information, at hand about the positive and negative effects the food we eat has on us. Basically what Dr Gillian McKeith is recommending is a good healthy diet of fruit, veg, nuts, seeds and wholegrains. There is such a vareity of good, healthy (really delicious) food out there, which make you feel energetic and alive as oppose to tired and sluggish (and perhaps a list of symptoms as long as your arm!) This dvd helps you get started with a healthier lifstyle, because it seems, you really are what you eat!

This is a two disc DVD packed with information. On disc one there is a questionaire which makes you think and lots of information about where you can buy the foods that is so often talked about. On disc two is on a more personnal level, showing you suggestions for breakfast, light lunches and evening meals and there are even suggestions for desserts and snacks. There are also extracts from the TV series for when the going get tough, that give you that little bit of will power back. A great DVD set that Ive watched over and over again each time remembering and learning a little bit more.
