Amazon.co.uk Review
Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking is a CD-ROM self-help guide for those wanting to give up the dreaded weed. Allen Carr once smoked 100 cigarettes a day. Then he stopped. Instantly. And apparently without any problems. Allen Carr's name is associated with clinics throughout the world, and now this software adds another way of accessing his stop smoking method.

The CD-ROM's contents are divided into 17 chapters--the "Addiction" chapter shows that nicotine is a drug and explains that you get addicted to it faster than cocaine or heroin; "Special Cigarettes" gets to grips with those cigarettes that seem particularly good (for example, the one just after a meal or the first of the day)--Allen explains that the reason these are special is that they follow times when you couldn't smoke (because you were eating or sleeping) and that it's the addiction kicking in, nothing more.

Work through Allen Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking and you will understand why you smoke, and how you can get your attitude in order and stop right now. When you've worked through the CD-ROM (which you can easily do in a single session) you should be ready to stop smoking immediately. And with a 90 percent success rate you may never buy another pack again. --Sandra Vogel

The magic bullet5
Forget what everyone's told you about stopping smoking ("oh, it's so hard to give up!", "it takes huge willpower!", "warn all your friends you're going to be a pig for the first 3 weeks while the cigarettes get out of your system!", "you'll put on weight!" etc. etc.). There is a way you can become a happy non-smoker, quickly and easilly: Allen Carr's method.

I smoked 40 cigarettes a day for 10 years. I stopped smoking using the Allen Carr method (I actually did the half-day course at the London clinic; details in the back of the book). The day I stopped smoking was the best day of my life. It was like escaping from a prison. Really, it is a release to be free and, after 3 years, it's harder and harder to imagine ever having wanted to smoke.

If people want to be slaves to cigarettes, that's their choice. I just feel sorry for them. But if someone mentions to me that they really wish they could give up smoking, I buy them a copy of Allen Carr's book. People I've given the book to have stopped smoking. (PS I only give someone the book if they mention wanting to stop smoking; if you badger friends and loved ones with the book, however well meaning, they'll see as the Smoking Police & avoid you!)

If you want to stop smoking, for goodness' sake do the Allen Carr method. You really will become a happy non-smoker. The computer program will suit the techies, the book will suit those who love to read and the half-day course will suit those in a hurry! But do it!

Yes! It works5
I was sceptical and scared, but I need not have been - it really was easy.
I was smoking 30 a day and stopped overnight!

don't worry, just stop smoking!5
I could ultimately write a thousand words about this method, all in praise, but really i would be writing about how good it is to have stopped smoking!
I (like you?) had thought many times that 'i couldn't' stop, that it would 'be too difficult', that right now wasn't 'the best time' to quit..... well, now you can stop kidding yourself too! Get the book, for you, your friends and family, and soon you, like me, will recommend this method to everyone you speak about the subject to!
The biggest problem I had was getting myself to start the book! A friend bought it me as a gift to take travelling, as i was on 30-40 roll-ups at the time. It took me about 4 months to read it properly, then read from cover to cover. 3 minutes after reading the book i had emailed all my friends to tell them that I knew i was never going to smoke again. And I've loved it, just loved it, I can tell thee, in the words of Kevin Keegan!
i'm on here to buy copies for people.
Buy it. This is the method that works. And it's easy.
