Health, beauty and home care the natural way5
This beautifully illustrated book provides valuable information on natural remedies for health, beauty, home and pet care. The chapter Natural Health Remedies contains information on herbal teas, compresses and quick tips on improving one's well-being. Natural Beauty tells the reader how to make creams, masks, shampoos, massage oils, bath salts, aftershaves and lip balms from natural products. Natural House and Garden explains how to make your own air fresheners, furniture polishes, kitchen and bathroom cleaners and garden sprays from environmentally friendly ingredients. Natural Pet Care provides hints, tips and information on remedies with natural ingredients to keep the cat and the dog healthy and happy and to treat common ailments of pets. The text is enhanced by full colour illustrations and the book concludes with a list of resources and an index.

A good all-rounder4
I currently have this book from the library, and now I'm going to buy it. As someone who is interested in 'going back to nature', I have read quite a few books on natural remedies, skin/hair/body care products and household cleaning. I found this book nice and easy to use (it's broken down into sections, then broken down again into numbered points rather than paragraphs) and covers a little bit on most things.

A word of warning though, if you are looking for something that covers purely remedies for ills and ailments or something that has depth then this probably isn't the book for you, it's more of a quick reference book.

simple but full of great info5
Laurel Vukovic has covered so much in this colourful book. This is a great one for people looking to take a more natural approach to their health, house and beautycare without needing complicated combinations of herbs and ingredients. The above review covers nicely way the book is broken into sections, I particularly like the way it uses simple ingredients easily sourced from chemists or healthfood shops...and therefore have used lots of them and can vouch for their effectiveness! A lot of friends and relatives with a more conventional outlook have also been persuaded to experiment with the advices...for example with laundry care and with treating head lice and now swear by them!
