Buy It!!!5
This book just blew me away. As someone who has dipped into this type of book before, I was expecting an understanding of the issues and some helpful information. What I never expected was the breadth of insight and the fantastically engaging style of writing. It seems highly unlikely with such a subject, but it really is an enjoyable and compelling read.

Dr Kate Middleton writes as if she is talking directly to every one of her readers - never condescending or jargony, always friendly, realistic and practical. At the same time it's clear she writes with immense authority on the subject. She inspires a much needed confidence and positivity in an area typically so dark and secret; she generates a certainty that anyone suffering from an eating disorder is not alone, and that real recovery is truly possible.

I completely recommend this book to anyone; male or female; sufferer or concerned onlooker; those with a professional interest, and those who are simply interested. It's like a breath of fresh air on the subject and it will transform the way you see things.

It also has pratical tips and small tasks to let people see how an eating disorder is affecting them and to face the fear of recovery.I have tired a few of these with people and can see how they really help.
I have read several books about eating disorders and they can be really heavy and overwhelming. However this one is a short, easy book that I have loaned to several people who love it too.
