Customer Reviews

Funky electro niceness5
A nice deviation from all the usual dance music that populates the compilation albums at the moment. While it won't be to everyone's taste it was certainly right up my street. If you like Funky electro, twanging bass, chilled vocals and punchy breakbeats then get this. It's also great to see Crazy P (a personal favorite of mine) feature so much on the album. I highly recommend this album to anyone wanting to set the tone for a party. Turn it up!!

What goes up...?5
Hed Kandi really are riding a wave of resurgence at the moment, with a string of high quality releases. This album continues the trend.
A new series of albums picking up a new sound, which is very difficult to pigeon-hole. In many ways its a very traditional glitzy disco sound, but seems to push the boundaries a lot more than previous Disco Kandi/Disco Heaven releases. I have to say I'm quite impressed after a few listens. Its incredibly eclectic, electric and comes with the pre-requisite air of quality and class that HK are once again becoming famous for. Quite how an album manages to be chilled and up-beat and up-tempo at the same time is beyond me! Stand out tracks in my opinion have to come from Crazy P who features heavily across the album and the Lifelike remix of Needy Girl by Chromeo is also a worthy mention.
So to test the notion that what goes up must come down, lets see if Hed Kandi can keep this sort of quality up! Great album!

A touch of class5
Hadn't come across a Hed Kandi release so consistently classy since Mark Doyle's departure. Nice one!
