Interesting and Informative
Tony Stockwell writes about several of his psychic cases and does so with a sense of humour, tact and thoughtfulness. He explains how he works and recreates the scenes involved. The cases are very different from each other and he ends with a chapter on coping with grief, which is really helpful and sensitive.
I particularly enjoyed the chapter on the Canewdon witches as I live near there - and it was very funny when he described the woolly hat he wore! Highly recommended for Tony fans and anyone else who is curious about how mediums work!
Terrific Tony
He's written his autobiography, he's taught us to Embrace Eternity, and now he's opening his private world even further by unlocking his Psychic case files. Tony Stockwell is no policeman, but he does have one skill they don't. The ability to see beyond the five senses into the other world where the answers to dissapearences and age old crimes may lay.
After watching Psychic Detectives and Phychic Private Eyes I definatly had to buy this book. Tony opens up his personal case files to you the reader to show how he can help where the police can't... A family are desperate to know what happened to their teenage son after he was found hanging from a tree. The police investigation decided it was suicide, but Tony's sixth sense screamed murder...and his psychic investigation leads him down the path of another missing child. Are the two cases connected?
A lady had her two children stolen when her back was turned. The Ghana police didn't want to know - but Tony did - can he find her two children and reunite them with their mother before its too late? And will Tony, walking the dark streets of his native East-End cast fresh light on the identity of London's most sensationalised killer, Jack the Ripper? And what shocking secrets lurk within the walls of Rennes-le-Chataux in France.
Tony also takes you on a tour around Canewdon, famed for its early century witch hunts. Are the legends about the place true and do the spirits of the age-old witches still linger in the spooky church?
This book is a fascinating read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would go as far as to say that this is the best out of the three books he's written. I know there are some sceptics out there who won't believe a word of this book, but thats up to them. Tony isn't trying to convert your belief. This book is a fascinating insight into the realm beyond our own. Even if you don't believe everything you read, at least you will be given food for thought - afterall one day you might need someone like Tony! And remember - for those who don't believe no proof is possible; for those who do - no proof is necessary.
Fascinating and Original
I loved this book. I found it totally gripping and couldnt put it down.
Its unusual for a book of this kind in that it takes on subjects case by case, so you get the history, the investigation and the follow up including reactions of the families involved.
One chapter had me weeping (and it was concerning a dog!!!) and the Jack the Ripper chapter was chilling.
I thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in the paranormal - or even those with an open mind!
Great Read!!!
