Customer Reviews
who can resist!?
Any CD with Parry's Songs of Farewell on is always worth a quick listen, and this one is particularly special for three reasons. First, the Parry songs are delicious. Second, it's also got the Vaughan Williams Mass in G Minor, and this recording recently won Radio 3's 'Building a Library CD review' of all the current VW Mass in G minor recordings - as judged by Jeremy Summerley. and third, it's also got Frank Bridge's 'A Prayer'accompanied by Jeremy Filsell's masterful organ playing. It's the kind of music I can never resist singing along to, and I agree with Mr Summerley - a great blend of singing and a wonderful listen. Make yourself a cup of tea, sit down, put your feet up and enjoy it!
