Great Map
Superb tourist map, large enough to read/view shows sufficient detail and symbols so readers can see clearly where points of interest are and where all roads are very clear. Has some really useful details on the rear like telephone numbers, street maps for the main towns, Paphos, Larnaca etc. I like this map and l dont need a magnifying glass to read it either - strongly recommended and what a bargain! Cyprus Road and Touring Map
Good but not enough
That map is great esp on South. If you are travelling by car and you will find odd villages places, beaches, etc but the north is more confusing because of the language. North need to put Turkish langugage places, villages, rather in greek language. We hire a car to north for a day trip and it is was rather confusing. I think that map need both languages as you can see the road signs in north more easily...
Names on signs are different
This map has been very useful, and proved to be fairly accurate.
Nonetheless, the signs on Cyprus roads have different names from the ones in the map (ie, Paphos is actually Pafos, Limassol is actually Lemesos, etc).
It's not the end of the world, but I found it fairly confusing, especially when navigating in the mountains having to guess what the towns would be called on the map.
I haven't tried other maps, so I don't know if there is a better alternative, but I'd flag it as fairly odd.
On the map itself it explains that names have been left in the old style to match what guides called places, but I think it's more important to have the correct name to navigate whilst driving around, and I could have more easily taken the time to figure out which places where wich in the guide instead.
Good, but not great.
