A most enjoyable book that well illustrates the myriad of changes that have affected the eastern part of this fascinating county. The captions are extensive and the coverage, geographically, is comprehensive. The past and present theme works well with normally the 'past' picture located immediately above or opposite to the 'present' picture. On the whole reproduction is good with just one or two 'plates' a little on the grey side. Overall - well worth a place on the bookshelf at a reasonable cost.
