Nice clock - pity about the tick!4
At first I was delighted with this light-weight little clock. It's attractive, with a clear face and easy controls. The only problem I have found with it is that its ticking kept me (and my husband) awake! Maybe it's because we only had digital, silent, clocks before and that we live on the edge of the countryside so aren't used to any regular sounds at night. Also, as we are both musicians, it was hard not to think of the regular tick as a metronome - instead of sleeping, we were thinking of tunes to fit the rhythm!! If we lived near traffic or other noise we probably wouldn't have even noticed the tick. As it is, after a week or two of sleepless nights (slight exaggeration!) the clock has found a new home in the kitchen, where we hardly ever notice the sound it makes, with all the other noise going on in there...

Gr8!5
This is a tiny, compact little alarm, one of the smallest I've owned. The "beep-beep" volume is just right and setting the hands isn't "fiddly". Highly recommended!

Ideal low-budget alarm clock5
If you are looking for a cheap alarm clock that does exactly what it says, then this item is ideal. It is small, so can easily be taken on short breaks when you do not need large amount of luggage. The advantage of this item over a mobile phone is it less likely to fail you, as mobile phones can always run out of power, and if you are not near to an electrical source you can come unstuck.

The only downside I would say is that for some people the ticking noise may keep them awake. That has never bothered me as I sleep through virtually any noise (other than the alarm). However, even if you do not like most noises, you should become accustomed to this clock's ticking after the first night's sleep, so that you won't even notice it thereafter.

All in all a good buy!
