I prefer this to the Rosemary Spa
I think the design and sound quality are much better on this machine than the Rosemary Spa. Also the sounds loops are much longer, my only slight complaint is that the 'ocean' sound also has seagulls in the back ground, personally I find the birds distracting when trying to sleep. There are two other sounds featuring birds so I think it would have been better if 'ocean' only featured the sound of waves. Overall though the quality is very good. It has 6 different sound settings (heart-beat, rain, summer night, tropical night, waterfall and ocean). It has a timer for 15, 30 or 60 mins. You can use with batteries or plug straight in. It looks quite nice too. The sound quality is better than the Rosemary Spa and it's cheaper too!

Sound spa
I don't sleep well! I wake with my mind wide awake - I bought the Sound Spa on the off chance that it would help as it was cheap enough that if it didn't I wouldn't have wasted my money. Hand on heart, I can say that since I bought it about a month ago I have been able to get more sleep per night than usual. I still wake up but am finding it really helps me to go back to sleep. I love the 'rain' and the 'ocean' sounds and the fact that I can easily find the timer button and the button to switch it on in the dark. I can have it on quietly enough that it doesn't disturb my husband.

Very happy with this product
Wife and I just moved to Richmond, where the noise from the air planes used to wake us up in the middle of the night.
We've now been using this little machine for about two weeks, and had the best night sleep every night. We use the "white noise" setting. I suppose one can replicate that sound using a radio player, however this is much more convenient. (I actually prefer the waterfalls sound, but wife prefers the white noise).
I also purchased this item:
NATURECARE SOUNDS MACHINE (110) - RELAX & SLEEP NATURALLY TO THE SOUNDS OF NATURE.AIDS TINNITUS.
Which in my opinion is far inferior. Also more expensive and doesn't come with the AC/DC plug.
