Uniross battery recharger
9 volt charger for PP3 nickel/manganese & nickel/cadmium batteries ( the rectangular ones). Holds 2 batteries & has a light indicating charging for each one which goes out once finished. Good price, nice & compact, plugs direct into a mains socket (no wander leads or wall warts) & does the job.

Faster than some, but still a slow charger
Dedicated 9v battery chargers are surprisingly rare. This one offers two slots on an 8 hour charge for a 170 battery.

The 'ready' lights seem to be on a timer rather than cutting out when the battery is full, which does not inspire confidence. I wouldn't want to overcharge one of these batteries as they can catch fire.

It takes ages to charge a battery. I use them for my effects pedals which eat through a 9v battery in about four hours, so I spend twice as long charging them as I do using them. Nonetheless, it has save me a fortune in new batteries so I can't complain. Charging two at once is a real boon, too.

The price is good, but if I could find a faster one I would do. 8 hours is almost impractical.

It does what it says on the box!
It's a reasonably priced battery charger which charges 9volt batteries - what more can you expect? If I needed another then I would probably get another of these.
