Hard work, but it works.4
Big fan of Mens Health and this book is like the mag, full of easy to follow advice. And it really works. Haven't quite got a six pack but I'll get there!

It makes you work very hard, B.U.T: IT DOES WORK5
Well, I have this book for two month and you know what? IT DOES WORK. It makes you work very hard. You start with easy exercises, but when you're getting used to go to the gym more-less regularly (approx. in 3 weeks after you've started the program), Kurt adds more and more difficult ones and then you can't stop, as you see the results and you're becoming very challenged. I think Kurt is a very clever guy and I would go to his classes if I lived in the states.:-) I'm not a gym guru and not mad spending my entire time in there, but three hours a week in the gym really changing your life (sorry for banality). I would suggest to use it in complex with two other books: Essential Chest and Shoulders: An Intense 6-week Program (Men's Health Peak Conditioning Guides) , Essential Abs ("Men's Health" Peak Conditioning Guides) and Essential Arms (Men's Health Peak Conditioning Guides) .

Yep, it's there!5
I am after week 5 of the programme and hell, I saw it coming a couple of days ago - nice ridges on my tummy, well when I contract and in favourable lighting ;), but it's definitely there. So, it does work.
The book it pretty much straightforward and easy to follow. I have altered it a little, for example from week 1 I was using extra weight for some crunches, and also did more than one set. On the other hand, due to time constraints I didn't do as much cardio/fat burn as suggested (20-30 minutes 3 times a week), so that probably slowed things down in my case. Already after week 1 I felt my back stronger and started walking more upright, which felt great!
This book is full of good advice, definitely worth a try!
