Synopsis
This bodybuilding documentary from 1977 charts a 28 year old Arnold Schwarzenegger's attempt to be hailed Mr Olympia for an incredible sixth time. A big box-office success, PUMPING IRON inspired scores of men (and women) to look at their own bodies and in some way emulate Arnold's incredible physique and the determination and committment it requires to maintain it. The movie also, in no small part, was the spring-board that launched him into a hugely successful career in acting. Also featuring TV's original INCREDIBLE HULK star Lou Ferrigno.

Still Pumping!
32 years later and still going strong! Whenever I watch this documentary it always inspires me and I can't help getting out the weights afterwards, its just that good! Also great to see the DVD being released again, as anyone who doesn't own the 25th Anniversary Region2 DVD will know how tough it is to get hold of one!
The film itself is a great insight to the world of bodybuilding and competitions, and I would recommend it for any Bodybuilder or Arnie fan, but if Arnie isn't your favourite don't worry as it also follows other bodybuilders including the future TV's Incredible Hulk - Lou Ferrigno!
All in all this is a great DVD, with all new special features included, my only bad point is that it's presented in 2.0 DD rather than 5.1, but otherwise, excellent!
My verdict: awful, alright, awesome --- awesome!
Brilliant
Very interesting look at the early beginnings of bodybuilding and the funny little mind of Arnie!
