Crowns and Bait Shops


Some girls dream about being princesses. For sixteen year old Rosalinda, it is reality. She is princess of a small kingdom and is used to servants. dress makers and a crown. She is soon to become queen of her kingdom and her coronation is drawing near.

So we may fantasize about being royalty but no girl dreams of working at a bait shop (between going to school and getting picked on by the Queen Bee). But that's Carter Mason's life. The sometimes prone-to-having-an-attitude sixteen year old doesn't have many friends and maybe finds better company with the worms she sells at bait than she does with the girls at school.

So you have two different girls. Two totally different life styles. Two totally different home lands.

But sometimes things come together in strange ways.

When a twist of events brings Rosalinda to Carter's home, Rosalinda has to learn how to hide her Princess identity and become a typical American teenager. Will Carter get over her prejudices about princesses and will Rosalinda learn how to fit in?

Princess Protection Programme is a feel-good, all age appropriate movie with some laughs and a good moral message. Rosalinda's character of turning the other cheek and always being well mannered and gracious is an empowering role model. This is an

amazing and unusual movie with a not so predictable ending. With the stars of this movie being the experienced Selena Gomez and the amazing Demi Lovato...you can't go wrong, right?

this is a great movie, for anyone who likes the princess diaries and camp rock it is a must, it is a movie with no boring bits and disney pulled another good movie out of the bag again, brilliant!
The story is of a Princess who has to flee her country and hide in a 'normal' life being looked after and taught by an all American girl, it is funny and sad, heartwarming film.
