Synopsis
Establishments accessible to visitors with mobility difficulties and those which are members of the Green Tourism Business Scheme are easily identifiable. Grouped by areas of Scotland, this book provides insider tips about what not to miss in each area plus key things to see and do, as well as listings of key events for the year. It is arranged in alphabetical order within the regions. It includes 6 pages of maps showing locality of all establishments. Each area has a map showing main roads and Tourist Information Centres. There is a full directory of all quality assured accommodation in Scotland - over 2,000 - at the back of the book. Each establishment has contact information and symbols showing facilities, including whether pets are welcome.

Customer Reviews

This is a brilliant book5
I purchased this for my non-uk friends and they all think that the detail of the B&B, and place/tourist information was exceptional. Great photos and lots of information in a 'pocket' sized book. Well worth the money.

Scotland B & B 20095
Brilliant, an absolute god send to anyone touring Scotland. Reassuring to know you have a list of places to ring at your finger tips! Broken down into regions and areas and very easy to use with what appeared to be very accurate information.

Bed and Breakfast 2009 (Scotland:Where to stay)2
The book includes only detailed information from paying advertisers. Other establishments are found in a the directory where only telephonenumbers are listed. I.o.w. not possible to contact via the net. In this day and age the possibility to see a webpage and be able to communicate via email is absolutely essential.
I have required - and received - extremely usefull complimentary brochures directly from visitscotland.
Purchasing this book was a waste of my money.
