Customer Reviews

Great if you want to get the most out of Adsense.5
This is a very useful book. It doen't tell you much about SEO and the like, and nor did I want it to. I wanted to get the most out of Adsense, and this book certainly delivers.

Here's a typical snippet:

"For my Google-Geek blog, what works best are ads between the posts. In fact, ads at the top of the page and in the sidebar don't work at all - I've never been able to generate income from them".

This was interesting to me. Personally, I hate ads between posts, and wouldn't normally consider them. However, with Adsense, it is very, very easy to experiment. This book shows you how, but more importantly, it puts you in the right mindset. Before I would have just plonked the ads down and assumed that was enough (indeed, thats what I did before I got the book). However, using this book, I more than doubled the clicks I was getting, in a couple of hours!! How cool is that? The book literally paid for itself in under a day.

Other topics, search as Adsense for Search and Mobile, are also covered, and in time, I will go through them too. But already, this book has paid for itself many times over, and is much more user-friendly than the somewhat clunky Google help interface.

Best of all, its a new release. Most books on the subject are a few years old now, and out of date, offering tricks which Google now frown upon.
