A great, readable, fun book for type-lovers and wannabes!
My husband and I have been teaching MBTI in small group settings for over 10 years. Type Talk is one of the best introductory books for the average person to read on understanding type. It has great illustrations of the various types at work in the world. A fun read.

Practical book gives you insight into yourself and others
Kroeger and Thuesen have written an interesting book about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a "test" that indicates your personality preferences and helps you begin to understand why you communicate differently from others, perceive situations differently, and enjoy different activities. Readers need not be psychological professionals: this is easy to understand, and full of things that make you say, "So THAT's why Bob always..."

Easy way to understand others using an amazing technique
This book helped me understand my enigmatic girlfriend and problems I was having communicating with some other key people in my life.

Before I write more about the book, let me say that the Myer-Briggs method of understanding others and self is amazingly accurate and useful.

This book makes it very easy for us to use the methods of Myer-Briggs and is totally non-technidal. Nevertheless, it keeps true to the spirit of Myer-Briggs ( I have her original book): - i.e. it emphasizes that this method can't be used to pigeon hole others.
