Power surge
it's quite usefull if u have a lot of usb devices connected to your laptop, except external hard drives, because they cause a power surge and don't work properly until u connect it to computer's USB port, thats SAD

great but thought it would only need one cord to connect not being plugged in to socket as well as the computer
I would have preferred a usb link between hub and PC with no link to a plug socket,

Logitech Hub Review
I have a laptop and as we all know laptops have very few USB ports. All my peripherals are Logitech. I have always found them middle of the range in price with exceptional quality, so too with the USB hub. It is small and inconspicuous and packs a power punch with four slots, it is ideal for what I want and is small enough to take anywhere should I need to, which is another bonus. If you are looking for a USB hub for a laptop, definately worth it weight in gold and more besides.
