HP Entertainment notebook - 12" - Ideal laptop for size and portability
I had looked for a laptop for a long time - wanting something bigger than a netbook but not full size at 17". This entertainment notebook is 12" and is a perfect size for portability ... and light too.
It is a good looker and everyone comments on this.
The only thing with the size is I thought I was going to have to sacrifice having a CD drive but this is included as an external plug in, which simply plugs into a USB port (of which there are 3)- so no problem!
I have been using this for about a month now and love it.
The only bad thing with it is the battery only lasts about 90 mins and then needs re-charging, so it looks like I will have to keep the charger with me a lot more than I'd hoped.
Haven't really tried all of it's features yet but am very impressed with it so far.

HP Pavilion Dv2 1030ea
I bought this laptop on 21/July/09 received it in good condition but when I started the laptop a dark patch appeared on the bottom centre of the screen and after a while the screen went dark. Restarted the machine a couple of times but the screen won't lit up. Also it heated up quickly in 5-10 mins. Returned the laptop very next day. I am diappointed, spending a huge amount you still get a product that is not reliable.
