Customer Reviews
ok, but a bit brief
this book is a university module text, however for a human resource module i did not find it inspiring nor informative. it reads the basic aspects of human resource but lacks in depth on subject areas.
overall, ok if you just need to know the hrm basics
Poor
Ive been reading this book in the past few weeks. It seems that the authors did not know how they were going to fill the pages of this book and you find repititive stuff. A clear example is the issue of Equal opportunities and Descrimination in Chapters 3 and 4 where the authors take an Extremist Approach as regards to this issue. I am NOT againt equal opportunites or anti-descrimination policies, mind you, but the authors keep on reminding us that we have to take these issues into consideration every couple of paragraphs that you feel like that you are being brainwashed about the issues.
I hope some improvements are done in future issues as I am not usually satisfied with books who repeat the same things over and over again as if they were inspired by some holy inspiration.
Excellent
