Synopsis
ADD (attention-deficit disorder) and ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder) are prevalent in today's society, afflicting about 4.4 per cent of the adult population. Four out of every five adults do not even know they are ADD, and while it is often difficult to differentiate adults with true ADD from adults who are merely forgetful and disorganised, "Organizing Solutions for People with ADD" outlines new organising strategies that will be of value to anyone who wants to improve their organisational (or lack of) skills in their life. The chapters consist of practical organizing solutions for 'ADD at Work' (for example, prioritising, time management, and organizing documents), 'ADD at Home' (paying bills on time, de-cluttering your house, scheduling and keeping appointments), 'ADD with Children' (driving them to various activities, grocery shopping and meals, laundry, babysitters, organising drawers and wardrobes), and 'ADD and You' (organising time for your social life, gym, and various other hobbies and activities).

Colour photographs that capture the readers' short attention span are featured throughout, as well as sidebars and testimonials from adults with ADD, providing numerous organisational tips, such as, the importance of dividing time into minutes or moments, task completion, how to avoid procrastination, asking for help, and how not to be a packrat.

Customer Reviews

the best organizing book, especially for ppl with adhd5
this is the best book for adults with adhd, who live in chaos, and clutter.
the book is broken down room by room with short paragraphs and photos of before and after for those who are visual thinkers.
easy to understand, and in my opinion made so much sense.
i have purchased many books on this particular topic, but this is the only one that motivated me to attempt to try the solutions, which i did and they worked.
