Body fat Calipers everyone should have
I bought the accu-measure skin fold calipers because I needed the most affordable and reliable tool for measuring my body fat levels. This did the job extremely well. Forget unreliable and expensive electronic bodyfat machines, this will do the job perfectly. Also, it was designed specifically for self use, so you can use it in your own privacy. Watch the millimeters drop and the pounds disappear!

Few tips
I plan on buying one of these right now, but I read a comment on here who said they thought you required more than one measurement to get your body fat total. Well this is true, you must take skin fold measurements from the following areas:

Upper chest
Right Tricep (back of upper arm)
Right Bicep (front of upper arm)
Suprailiac (front hip area)
Lower Back
Subscapular (just beside your shoulder blade)
Stomach (near belly button)
Right Calf
Right upper thigh

Some sites require the assistance of another person!

Next, add up all these measurements and divide it by your weight in lbs. Then multiply that number by 27 and that is your body fat percentage.

This is called the 'Parillo equation' method.

Accu Measure review
I recently purchased this product, I found it very easy to use with clear instructions. The caliper came with an instruction leaflet which had plenty of information in it.

The only point I'm not sure about is that you take one measurement which is used to estimate your body fat percentage. I thought that a few reading were needed to accurately measure total body fat. The product is claimed to be very accurate though.

In summary, very easy to use by one person and I would recommend it.
