The Braun Oral-B EB417-2 Dual Action Toothbrush Refill 2 Pk fits all regular Braun Oral-B rechargeable toothbrushes. It cleans and polishes your teeth helping them to stay naturally white. The oscillating head moves in a circular motion and a second brushing surface moves with rapid side to side motion. The two moving brush heads provide twice the cleaning action, removing more plaque than a manual brush and leaving teeth feeling fresh and clean. Its interdental tips penetrate hard to reach areas and it has indicator bristles let you know when to replace the brush head.

A bit too chunky for the ol' mouth!
The Dual Clean replacement toothbrush heads are... well, where to start? As a user of an electronic toothbrush for over a year now, I'm used to a small pea-sized toothbrush head (known as the Precision Clean toothbrush heads to me and you). With the Dual Clean, it has the pea sized head plus a floss like action addition to the end of your toothbrush. Trying to get this large addition to stay on your teeth whilst brushing is one problem though.

In time, you do get used to it, like getting used to leaving manual brushes for electronic. I can't really say if the heads have improved the cleanliness of my teeth as I've recently changed my toothpaste to whitening so for that reason, I can't give you an accurate answer at this time.

On a final note, thinking logically (not actually tested), with the addition of the floss like addition to the brush head, this MAY take slightly more battery power. Not a problem for users who leave their battery on charge over night; do remember to discharge your battery levels every few months though for optimal battery power!

In conclusion, this is a good toothbrush head, but may be a bit large in the mouth for many users. However, for a mere £10 these four heads will last you for one year so it is indeed a bargain in itself.

Exactly what i wanted - cheaper than any where else & was right size to still be posted through the letter box with out the annoying journey to go & have to pick the package up at the post office depot!!

Twice the clean half the time, these heads are much better than the single ones, even if you have a small mouth, less time brushing for a better clean.
I would use these every time.
