I bought this book for my wife ,as part of her christmas present package, she loves her cooking and never gets tired of looking for something new to prepare for our meals,she loves this one.

as a chef i thought that it was poorly writen its recipes showed no thought or passoin or love it is a lovless book the saturday kichen is full of "sell outs" selling there poor skills and unimagintive ideas to the highst bider if you whant rell good food and have love for the things you eat or cook for your family this is not the book for you its not worth the paper that its printed on i whould recomend form my profesionl veiw a book like essence, bouchon, or white heat but if you relly love to cook and you whant to feal the chefs love for cooking as you read the pages i whould recomend alain ducasse he is a true master
