About the Author
Dede Teeler has spent the last 10 years teaching EFL in Spain and sharing experiences with other teachers in Europe through her involvement with various professional associations.
She has been on the Board of TESOL-Spain for several years, and was recently named to the post of Director of Publications.
She started the Internet Classroom at International House Barcelona, giving training sessions to directors and teachers alike, and was Joint Head of Web Development for International House Eastern Spain.
Whilst teaching in Barcelona, she experimented with CALL in a variety of ways throughout the late 80's and early 90's, including bits of the Internet...and then, everything suddenly changed with the advent of the Web.
