Although it measures a mere 225mm wide the CyberHome CH-DVD400 has a great range of functions and good quality connectivity. Connectivity includes an RGB-capable SCART socket, S-video and composite video outputs, stereo audio sockets and an electrical digital audio output. Features include slow-motion playback and a 4 x zoom. The zoom also works in reverse, decreasing the image to half, one-third and one-quarter size. Repeat play mode and A-B repeat let you watch all of your favourite titles, chapters or sequences over and over again. Setup options include the ability to select high, medium or low sharpness, and dynamic range can be limited to make it easier to listen to action movies at night without sudden loud bangs. During playback, 14 sound modes can be accessed. Video CDs enjoy Playback Control functions, and there is support for MP3, JPEG and MPEG files. This is a good-looking DVD player which is jammed-packed with features and delivers a solid performance at a fantastic price.

DVD Player for Technophobes
I admit to being a technophobe. I'm rubbish when it comes to electrical products, wires and all that stuff. So this comes as a great surprise. Easy to use, excellent picture, remote with just enough buttons. Lots of extras if you want it. You can watch DVDs, play CDs, look at pictures.

When I bought this it was £50 and I thought that was a bargain. If you can get it for £19 then you get a real bargain.

Nothing but praise. No problems with it, doesn't skip, plays great. Ideal.

Great Machine
Very Neat Machine; 20 Quid delivered and Multi region.
Thx to others for the instructions:
1) Power on the Unit (From the remote, make sure no disc is in the unit, and wait for the display to show "No Disc"
Key is to power on from remote - if you power on from machine, then use rest of these instructions, it won't work.

2) Press the "Menu" key on your remote

3) Then press "1" and then "9" (All from the remote)

A greyish box should appear with the current region number in it. Using the Up and down arrow keys on your remote select "0" as the new region and then Press the "Enter" button on your remote.

The grey screen should disappear and your Unit should now be Region free (Muiti-region).

Is your Cyberhome CH-DVD400 Multiregional?
I purchased one of these earlier this year, due to the fact that I currently own region one dvds (region one covers Usa and Canada); my old Cyberhome is on its way out with the drawer continously closing automatically. This was not multiregional when I got it, but made it multiregional. I purchased a Cyberhome CH-DVD400 player and when I received it found that it was not multiregional, AAAGH! the frustration! but dont panic, Dont start ringing the nice people at amazon complaining that they have misadvertised a product! if your having the same problem, heres how to reset the factory settings.

I found that this way worked

1)Press 'menu'
2)Press '1'
3)Press '9'
a box should appear on the screen with a 2 in it
4)Use up & down keys to select region '0' (this will make the player region free. Imagine, you can play any dvd from anywhere! Magic!
5)Press 'enter'
