Amazon.co.uk Review
Things blow up. Someone you think is a human turns out to be a shape-shifting Terminator. There are confusing forays through time and discussions about what happened when in which version of the past and/or future. But really, the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles--unfortunately the final season of the series--is about family, connections, and the things we do to protect the ones we love. Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) has an especially rough road, nearly dying and becoming obsessed with a three-dot symbol and detours through a world of UFO obsessives. John Connor (Thomas Dekker), a.k.a. the guy who will grow up to lead humanity's resistance to the hated machines, gets tough and gets a girlfriend. His uncle Derek (Brian Austin Green) gets a girl as well, and the women in their lives turn out to have a surprising connection. Cameron (Summer Glau), the Terminator sent to protect John, suffers some damage and reveals some surprisingly human secrets of her own as her relationship with John gets more emotional and complicated. Shirley Manson (lead singer of Garbage) joins the cast as Catherine Weaver, an icy executive ,suffice it to say that a familiar (and threatening) face shows up in her company. This is a fitting sendoff for an ambitious show. --Stephanie Reid-Simons

FOX have gone and done it again -Thank You Fox ...NOT!!!
I cannot believe Fox have gone and done it again. Yes they have cancelled yet another classic Sci Fi show, which in just two seasons already has a cult following. (Oh Yes, they did it with FIREFLY after just one season).
How they could cancel this is beyond me. Even with Fox's poor reputation for this type of thing, how could they overlook such a gem of a series?
Being an avid fan of the 3 Terminator films, I was not even going to watch this for fear of spoiling the whole Terminator effect.
However, Series One started with a Wow, and Series Two continued, and matured with ever improving performances from all of the main characters (save Riley). Sarah Connor and Cameron (the mesmerising Summer Glau) just got better and better, and all of the main characters (just dig John Henry singing the 'Donald' song... almost chilling) really developed to leave viewers JUST WANTING MORE at the end of the second series, Step forward FOX to ignore the thousands of viewers who really supported this show to pull the plug. PLEASE CHECK THE WEB TO SEE HOW INTENSE MANY,MANY PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT THIS SHOW. Par for the course with the whole FOX organisation, alas. This was the only show I just had to see each week.(No doubt Fox will have the dosh for such brain challenging shows as America has got talent or some other garbage...Don't think I will help put pennies in the Fox media trough in future...perhaps they will listen if enough people make their feelings heard...
I love it. Favourite TV show ever. Classic. Amazing.
This show is just simply amazing, great character development, great action, beautiful filming, and powerful captivating plots. You will enjoy this show, because it has everything you need, just watch it from beginning to end, the story-telling is a masterpiece. I've seen all the new FOX shows lately, I watched and enjoyed Fringe, I watched and enjoyed Lie to Me, and I watched and enjoyed Dollhouse, all are new shows, and trust me, TSCC is the best out of all of them.
Like you, I too was at first hesitant because of the whole "remake" idea of another terminator show, but trust me, it is truly an amazing show. It's like a movie you want to watch over and over again. I have done that with my blu-ray season 1.
Amazing series. Lots of good memories.
This is an amazing series that i cannot get enough of. The acting is outstanding. Lena Headey is the most impressive. She's really like Linda Hamilton is in T2. I saw Lena in St. Trinians (awful movie) and couldn't believe how british she is. It was interesting to see that movie as she was really good in it and it's amazing to see her as Sarah connor in this. She's very diverse. Great acting all around from thomas dekker, summer glau, brian austin green and more. It really is something and makes you forget the mess T3 was. Great story, great everything. Highly recommended to all terminator fans. Give this series a chance if you're not sure. I initially wasn't sure from hearing about it and fell in love with it. 5 stars all the way.
