Manufacturer's Description
Boasting a powerful 8.0 million pixels, the Mju810 captures images in sparkling detail. Matched with a bright, 3x zoom lens (equivalent to 38-114mm on a 35mm camera), photographers can rely on this model for impressive shooting results. Framing and playback of compositions is easy and fun on the camera's generous 6.4cm LCD. The incorporation of BrightCapture Technology, meanwhile, enhances the outcome of images in low-light conditions as well as displaying subjects up to 4x brighter on the high-contrast monitor.

The Mju810 features 20 scene modes for exceptional shooting versatility. Supporting the camera's waterproof attributes, these include modes specially designed for underwater shots. For divers whose interests lie deeper beneath the water's surface, the optional PT-033 underwater case boosts the camera's waterproof abilities to an astounding 40m.

Easy use is assured via a Guide Function that explains the different camera operations directly on the LCD. A movie function is naturally also included it records clips in VGA quality, whereby length is only limited by the available memory. Images and movies can be stored either to internal memory or onto optional xD-Picture Cards. In addition, the camera features PictBridge support, allowing images to be printed on compatible printer models (e.g. Olympus P-11) without the need to go via a PC.

    Quality Product5
This camera is very easy to use, it is ergonomic, sturdy compact and overall pictre quality is awesome. If you are not a camera 'anorak' and just want excellent quality pictures without all the gizmos that confuse you, this is the one. The quality compared to my previous Fuji 5 mp camera is incomparable, highly recommended.

    incredible!!!5
My camera arrived yesterday, and its incredible. If you've read any reviews mentioning bluriness of photos or that the colours are too bright, in fact, if you've read anything bad about it, ignore it. Its my first digital camera, and within about 2 minutes I was filming and taking photos b4 i'd even read the instructions. It's so easy to use, it's just common sense. It also has a load of great features that i didnt realise it had, I cannot fault it at all. The quality is incredible, even on its lowest quality setting the pictures are brilliant when printed off in 6x4. as a first camera, or even an upgrade from an older one, it is a must. but, u wud also be advised in making sure u get a memory card aswell, the higher the better.

    noise noise noise!!!3
The camera is very compact with excellent lcd which is very useful indoors as well as outdoors in the daylight...it has a robust body which is weatherproof...which should prove very durable
now the picture quality...it takes excellent pictures at the lowest ISO but as you increase the ISO the images start to show a lot of noise in them...the noise may not be visible in the prints but if you look at them on 100% scale they show visible noise...
the response time is slow as compare to the new cameras in this range especially in the low light
the slow response of the camera would cause blurry pictures as you can not keep your hands steady for 5-10 seconds and this camera lacks the optical image stablisation which means if u want a quick response and avoid blurry pictures you will have to boost the ISO speed which again results in very noisy images (digital image stablization only increases the ISO speed and does not compensate for handshake as compare to OIS)
another problem with this camera is over saturation of the colours...the colours are overly sharp i would say...ofcourse you can adjust the exposure to compensate for that but you wouldn't want to do that everytime especially when the camera is not super quick...
so my advise based on my personaly experience is to stay away from this camera and you might wanna consider other cameras in this range like canon ixus or fuji..both are good especially fuji which is best for low light shootings...
