This text has been fully updated to include the new Standards from LLUK, and to take account of the variety of contexts within the Lifelong Learning Sector. Assessment theory and practice forms an integral part of the knowledge and understanding required to achieve QTLS, and this book functions as a practical study aid and friendly introduction to this broad and complex subject area. It includes research summaries, case studies drawn from across the curriculum, and activities to encourage trainees to reflect on and develop their own views on assessment practice.

Assessing Learning PTLLS / ATLS / QTLS
Full of useful information and an essential pre read to a PTLLS threshold teacher training course. An excellent companion book to 'Preparing to teach in the Life long Learning Sector' which is the standard book for the course. The student is guided through the basics of assessing learning in a number of teaching roles using relevant excerpts from actual reflective practice learning journals. Simple to read, uncomplicated and a must for your teacher training library.
