Highly Recommended
An indispensable resource for both the practising hypnotherapist and the student of hypnotherapy. Dr Hammond provides clear explanations and examples of how to form effective hypnotic and post-hypnotic suggestions, and follows this with practical suggestions and metaphors for a wide range of conditions and habit disorders, which every therapist can adapt to their own way of working. Definitely the most well-thumbed book on my bookshelf!
Excellent book - incredibly useful
As a Hypnotherapist, this is an excellent book, particularly if you are newly qualified. It is full of useful scripts and information about a wide variety of complaints. There is also a good deal of information about hypnosis and its clinical use.
I regularly consult this book when working with clients and have found it to be invaluable. There's a great technique for Arthritis that works a treat in here, to mention but one.
I am incredibly pleased with this book and think it's worth every penny I paid for it. I'd highly recommend it if you are looking for a good reference book with scripts and information about various problems you'll encounter.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I discovered this book during my Clinical Hypnotherapy training and found it a wonderful tool. I've been in practice since 1992 and still refer to this manual for script ideas. Many of the suggestions can be used straight from the book, although I tend to modify and/or adapt them to suit my client's needs. It is an important part of my hypnotherapy library.
