	Roxanne [1987] Buy new: £2.56 / Used from: £1.00 Martin reworks the Cyrano de Bergerac tale to great effect as he resets the duelling in small town America
	Dave [1993] Buy new: £2.64 / Used from: £3.50 A kind hearted presidential lookalike is persuaded to step in for the real thing when the president suffers a heart attack in flagrante delicto. Superb political satire.
	Dirty Rotten Scoundrels [1989] Buy new: £3.36 / Used from: £2.40 Martin and Caine excel as two conmen going head to head over a seemingly innocent girl. The Ruprecht scene is delicious.
	The Fisher King [1991] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £2.99 A satire of finding hope when you hit rock bottom. Gilliam keeps a careful lid on Williams to produce this extraordinary film (about video club membership)
	Beetlejuice [1988] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.50 An early Tim Burton film about the perils of being deceased. Featuring that nice Adam Baldwin who you'd never think would yell down a phone. And haunted prawn salad.
	Things Change [1988] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £6.78 Superb comedy about a shy old man who is persuaded to take the wrap for a mafia boss. Then his young mafia babysitter takes pity on him and decides to take him on one last fling.
	Birdy [1984] Buy new: £5.97 / Used from: £3.75 Cage and Modine as two teenage misfits recovering from shell shock. Cage tries to remind Modine of his strange obsession with the flight of birds.
	Benny And Joon [1993] Buy new: £4.97 / Used from: £4.72 Depp and Masterson excel in this love story between an educationally slow lad obsessed with silent movies and a brilliant traumatised painter. Exciting cooking techniques (ironing toasted sandwiches!)
	Cry Baby (Directors Edition) [1990] Buy new: £2.61 / Used from: £2.55 The Pope of Trash's love story of a nice girl and a boy from the wrong side of the tracks. A fantastic anti- musical!
	All Of Me [1984] Buy new: £3.97 / Used from: £3.37 Martin is possessed by the ghost of the thoroughly spoilt millionairess Tomlin. Lots of gender jokes.
	Fargo (Special Edition) [1996] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.45 A black comedy about a kidnapping scam that goes tragically wrong. Mcdormand is superb as the pregnant investigating cop.
	The Dream Team [1989] Buy new: £5.97 Four mental patients find their inner strengths in order to defeat corrupt cops who want to murder their kind hearted doctor.
	O Brother, Where Art Thou? [2000] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.35 In theory its the Odyssey set in Depression America. Clooney hams it up as the corrupt lawyer on the run from the chain gang. Superb music.
	Fried Green Tomatoes At The Whistle Stop Cafe (Special Edition) [1991] Buy new: £5.98 / Used from: £11.60 Kathy Bates learns to stop being a shy frump when she hears tales of a Depression era heroine (Masterson). Secret's in the sauce.
	Sneakers [1992] Buy new: £4.97 / Used from: £2.75 A team of professional hackers get in way over their heads when they are blackmailed into stealing a code breaking device.
