The Ultimate Penultimate Season.
LOST, since it's explosive beginnings, has been my favourite show. I have loved every episode. And while it's commonly agreed it slowed up after the the first season and a half, it's better than ever in Season 5. I personally have a fascination for time travel which stems from Back to the Future, so this season is a favourite. There is action from start to finish, and plenty of backstory gets filled in. Much is built up to the 2 part finale and it is brilliant and leaves you itching for the final season.
Now to the actual set. The blu-ray quality is excellent and like season 4, comes with the "SeasonPlay" mechanic. I do like this but it would be a lot better if it just instantly resumed from your last point if you have removed the disc, rather than starting the menu up first. My PS3 does this automatically for most other DVD's. The size of the set is the same as a usual, single disc blu-ray, which begs the question why they couldn't always do this, so that my ever expanding collection wouldn't take up quite so much space! Extras are ok, but I always wish for something a bit more form LOST and odten feel a little short changed.

Perfection!
I have watched each and every single episode of LOST since it first aired, and love every moment of it. I am a huge fan, and don't have a significant favourite season, they're all just as good as each other. However, I would like to rank the penultimate season outside of that box, because it really is that good.

I tried explaining the direction this season went to my uncle, who got lost after the thirteenth episode of the first season. But he couldn't see just how it could be realistic in any fashion. But, when viewing this season, it is beautifully written, wonderfully directed and the acting is the best its ever been (Terry O'Quinn, Matthew Fox and Michael Emerson rock this season).

How Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse managed to pull of such a complex plot is unbelievable, and the final is left with the biggest cliffhanger since the first season finale. What direction will LOST take in THE FINAL SEASON is hard to say right now, but one thing is for sure...its going to be one hell of a ride!

Disks and Quality of show okay.. but they should stop making Lost while the game is good.
Well Disks and Quality of this purchase are generally good.. but they should really stop making lost now i serious dont know how much longer they can keep it going.. this were the last seson we are gonna buy...
