although this is advertised as the complete series this is an abridged version only about half of the original TV version.

First Among Equals - Superb5
A very watchable series, and completely up-to-date with all that is going on within our Government at the moment.
All the actors are superb, believable - I personally preferred the alternative ending, but that's my own politics!

Good Political Series5
The series was enjoyable when first broadcast. This DVD can be enjoyed repeatedly as it is well written and well acted. Our current enjoyment in viewing it was particularly poignant as our politicians are very much in the public eye at present. It was fun to try to indentify the real-life characters to match the fictional ones, bearing in mind the dates portrayed. Excellent, highly recommended.
