Hot Stuff
Another gem from the pen of Jane Moore. She is the new Jackie Collins. The Queen and the voice of Suburbia.
Her books contain the sex, morals and fun.
She is a mixture of Julie Burchill - Tony Parsons - Garry Jackson and Martina Cole.
The book I have read since TILL DEATH US DO PART by Garry Jackson and Platinum Logic by Tony Parsons.
A great light-hearted read (perfect for duvet days!)
OK, so it isn't the most original plot in the world, but what this book lacks in originality it makes up for tenfold in humour and great characterisation. Jo is a very lovable main character and has that wonderful 'I will survive' vibe which makes this book utterly readable and brings the plot alive. With lots of other good characters and laugh-out-loud moments a plenty I would wholeheartedly recommend this book. Well done Jane Moore, I am impressed.
One of the funniest books I have read all year!
When I was first recommended this book my initial reaction was not another story about unfaithful husbands, impending divorce and being landed with the kids but I was pleasently suprised. I began the book believing that after the first chapter it would remain on my shelf until I found an unsuspecting friend to palm it off upon. However, since last night I have been incapable of putting it down.
Jo's friend Rosie is so full of witty remarks that she has me in stitches so much so that every one around me is eager to read the book just to find out what has kept me so amused.
when I reached the end, which came all too soon, I was quite disappointed. Not because the ending was poor but rather it is one of those books that you have enjoyed so much that A) you wish that it didn't have to end so soon and B) that you wish you could read again without knowing what lies ahead on the next page.
If you want something to read which is light hearted, funny and flowing then this is the book to buy.
My congratulations to Jane Moore for such a fantastic debut novel and I can't wait to see what her next novel will contain.
