Quality Spanish music.
La Oreja de Van Gogh are one of Spain's best pop bands who have conquered the Spanish market as well as most of central and South America, and continue to be hugely popular. Hailing From San Sebastian, In the North of the Basque country in Spain, they have now been producing excellent albums since 1996 when they met at university. I think their success lies in the band's ability to create varied heart-felt melodies that real people can relate to.Their music is so very different to many bands in the U.K today. La Oreja have always written their own songs and the lead singer Amaia Montero always sings with obvious emotion and warmth. I bought their album ( Lo que te conte....) about a year ago, and still love thier songs, which are very catchy and memorable. Their new album 'Guapa' is out in April 2006 and celebrates 10 years together as a band. Don't miss it if you like quality Spanish music or even something a little different from some of the contrived, emotion drained pop that circulates so freely in the U.K

worth every penny I paid for it
When I bought "Dile Al Sol" I thought it had the most catchy and uplifting songs I'd heard in years but "Que Te Conte Mientras Te Hacias La Dormida" is even better.I couldn't tell you which song I like the most - the whole recording seems to be a unified masterpiece.Every member of this group has tremendous talent and every second of this cd is worth listning to.

Hats off to the Spanish!
Absoultely superb top drawer stylish international pop without a hint of the contrived sound of manufactured music. Melodies to die for and fantastically produced. The syncopated vocal melodies in the bridges will hook you immediately. A CD brimming at the corners with fantastic tracks, and there are some real charmers in there. Cannot recommend it enough, buy it.
