Sit back and enjoy!
I have been lucky enough to hear this new CD and it is awesome!
David Bisbal entered the Spanish equivalant of Fame Academy and although he was not the winner, he has quickly become the success story of the show.
This is David's second CD. The first being "Corazon Latino" which came out in 2002. Like his first piece of work this CD is full of uptempo songs, his new Single "Buleria" which is also the title of the CD is a typical Spanish Rumba full of catchy rhythms, a real feel good song, as is "Oye el Boom". He is a master at ballads and his songs "Permitame Senora" and "Desnudate mujer", which happens to be the first ever song he was written the words and lyrics to is an absoloute joy.
This album is sang entirely in Spanish and is produced by well known Mexican producer Kike Santander. I am lucky enough to be billingual and I guess if you cannot understand the language you can loose a bit of the "feeling" but nevertheless if you like Enrique Iglesias,Ricky Martin or Luis Miguel you will not be disappointed with this. Watch out for this artist he is HUGE in Spain and South America and is already well known in the USA. It won't be long before he makes it over here. Enjoy!
Superb
I first heard a live version of Buleria and after hearing tracks from his Corazon Latino album, fell in love with David Bisbal's voice. It has so much texture and depth to it and he sings with a real passion that you don't get with British artists. So I bought this album and it's fantastic. The tracks alternate between heart-wrenching ballads that grow bigger with each listen and very groovy little numbers that you can't help shaking it to. Bisbal has taken Latin "pop" to another level. I think it's a shame that we Brits aren't open enough to music in other languages because this album is superb. Can't wait for the next.
A weclome addition to any CD collection
Yes, David Bisbal is HUGH in Spain/South America, his music is great, and he looks fantastic and has a wonderful voice. We in the UK are very slow to embrace other languages and therefore may miss out on this wonderful artist. My friends love the sound and beat of the music but are put off by their lack of knowledge of the Spanish language.
Buleria is wonderful, all the tracks are great, and I would think a welcome addition to anyone’s CD collection
