About the Author Stephen Froggart is Team Leader for the Mathematics at Oaks Park High School, Ilford. He was formerly Head of Maths at Highfield School, Liphook, and an ISEB setter for Common Entrance Maths. In his spare time he maintains the website www.MathsIsFun.net - beacause it is! About ISEB: The Independent Schools Examinations Board (ISEB) offers examinations for pupils transferring from junior to independent senior schools at the age of 11+ and 13+. Clear, but hardly any practice questions
Clear explanations and examples.

However, the product description phrase "worked examples are followed by examples to practise", is misleading. There are no practise examples for the vast majority of topics.

If you need practice, you need to buy Mixed Maths Exercises (available for years 7 or 8, higher or lower) from the same publisher online (unavailable from Amazon), who also sell a download of the answers.
