Cool toy, but be careful
I bought this toy for my kids, 8 and 6, and they LOVE it. I was impressed as well by the way that his mouth actually moves up and down when he talks... he even has a tongue and back teeth, as my son pointed out. His face feels almost real... no hard plastic, more rubbery and realistic. Admittedly because of this I worry a little that my enraptured son is going to pull Indy's nose right off and leave a gaping hole where his cheek should be, but it is really cool nonetheless. The only point I had to take off is durability. His clothes all come off, so if you give it to kids they will definitely strip him naked, and when mine did just that his hand came off. Now that hand, although we got it back on, comes off pretty easily and I'm sure eventually it'll be lost and we'll have the cool Indiana Amputee Jones doll.

Another note, just for the perhaps easily shocked... he comes with various accessories, and one of them is a small gold-coloured statue of... inexplicably... a Sheila-na-gig type figure. Go ahead and google it. It's a small female figure, grimacing and kneeling, with a baby partially born between her legs as her hands reach down behind her buttocks and betwen her legs, presumably to pull the baby the rest of the way out. I was startled to see this in my child's toy.

Talking Indy.
I bought this figure because I'm a huge fan of the Indiana Jones movies. For a collector it will not disappoint. It has the golden idol, it has the whip and it has the Fedora. Who could ask for more. More, more you say? Well on top of everything else this figure speaks, the mouth actually moves when you press the button to make it talk. For kids who are into the Indy movies, it's a must. As always if your kid has a habit of swallowing items other than food be careful that they don't put the gun, the idol or the shoes into their mouth....cough...cough...cough. Not that I've tried ...cough...cough...cough, as these items are of swallowable size, cough...cough...

Indiana Jones 12 inch talking doll
I bought two of these doll's at Christmas 08. These were for my two nephews who are big Indiana Jones fans.
They were an instant success. The face of the doll is very much close in features to the actual character. The dress of the doll is well made and authentic looking, as are the accessories of a whip and gold treasure head.
The voice is clear and has a number of different sayings. The doll figure itself is well made, and fully jointed.
Absolutely worth the money and to see the nephews faces, especially when the figure talks.
