We're seeing here the first outing of creators who will make their mark on the future comic industry. --Bryan Talbot

Cancertown will disorientate you, suck you in, chew you up and spit you out and you might well be in need of a change of underwear by the end. Don't say I didn't warn you. --Bryan Talbot

Incredible art and great story5
I was blown away by this book, must buy!!!!!!!!!

The artwork is sensational

Grim yet uplifting5
Grim, gritty and yet is still manages to be positive. The central character (hero?) is trying against all the odds to make things better. I loved how obviously frustrated he got with, well, everyone. Yet he keeps trying to do the right thing. The bad guys are bad, the good guys are a bit grubby, just the way I like it. The artwork fits the writing perfectly, and the story moves along briskly. Just try to give yourself time to finish it in one sitting, you won't want to put this book down.

Excellent new read!5
I bought 'Cancertown' a few weeks ago and recently read it cover to cover. That's how compelling, funny, original and inventive it was! The main character is utterly convincing, seeking the truth in an otherwise false London reality. Composed of vicious beings and with a knack at entertaining the reader with its witty ramblings, 'Cancertown' is without a doubt one of the must-have graphic novels of 2009.
