EXCELLENT ...WELL WORTH A READ
I thought this book was very helpfull in understanding the opposite sex.It was written by husband and wife and has very balanced veiws it just helps to understand why... we are like we are.My copy has been passed around many of my friends who in turn have reccomended to other people.
PLUS it is the only book my husband has read this year and he thought it was very interesting too.
awful .... simplistic ..... repetitive .....
The ideas presented in this book are stereotypical and aren't based on any credible scientific data. It is true ofcourse that women's and men's brains have biological differences and that the AVERAGE male is different from the AVERAGE female in certain areas (ofcourse there is a lot of overlap .... some men are more like the stereotypical female etc and vise versa).... but there are women who can reverse a car, reading a map at the same time and there are men who are emotional and sensitive who think about more than just sex. This is the type of book that causes prejudice and misunderstanding and it is not even funny! It is dull, repetitive, full of typos and fails to say anything intelligent. It reduces the most complex issues in life into something very simplistic... take it all with a pinch of salt!
