CD Description
Available for the first time, Chris Moyles' The Parody Album is a collection of hilarious song parodies that Chris and the team first performed on 'The Chris Moyles Show' on BBC Radio 1. The Parody Album includes classics such as “Meat Again” (“Beat Again” originally by JLS), “Lorry Driver” (“Womanizer” originally by Britney Spears), “Big Bum” (“Sex Bomb” originally by Tom Jones), “I Predict a Diet” (“I Predict a Riot” originally by The Kaiser Chiefs) and many more. With new tracks recorded specially for the album, including "Liar" (originally "Fire" by Kasabian) and "My Parody Album" (originally "Bank Holiday Monday" by Stereophonics), Chris Moyles' The Parody Album will also feature exclusive tracks written by the man himself and never heard until now.

Customer Reviews

Funny, amusing parodies4
How sad that so many people are using this space to vent their hatred of Chris Moyles rather than actually review the product.

Moyles has been doing parodies for a number of years now on his Radio 1 show. A lot of them have been very popular as 'illegal' downloads and ringtones, now they're all available as quality recordings on one album. For anyone who hasn't heard them before, Moyles and the team take various popular hits and rerecord them with alternative lyrics, for example 'Lorrydriver' instead of 'Womaniser' (Britney Spears) and 'I Predict A Diet' instead of 'I Predict A Riot' (Kaiser Chiefs). If you don't like this idea (or Chris Moyles) then you won't probably won't like the album. If you do then this is a great collection of amusing songs to make you smile. It's not groundbreaking musical genius but it is funny and original and a good Christmas present for fans of the Breakfast Show.

To all the people who said this should be a charity album: why? Various X Factor / Britain's Got Talent wannabes release albums full of covers every year and nobody says they should be for charity. At least Moyles has put a bit of effort in to changing the lyrics. I don't see Susan Boyle or Rhydian selling their albums for charity so why should Chris Moyles?

Arriving late, but sounding great - Moyles has an hit on his hands !5
'The Parody Album' from Chris Moyles provides the world with an eclectic range of original tracks that will satisify the most critical of music lovers.

Some may know Chris Moyles as the saviour of Radio 1, part of the mighty British Broadcasting Corporation empire. What many may forget is, this album adds the role of 'recording artist' to his expanding portfolio that includes 'best selling author', 'athlete', 'film and TV superstar', 'humanitarian' and 'confidant to the stars' .... there appears to be no limit to this man's abilities.

The track listings are subject to immense security, being held in a secure bank vault buried deep under the snow capped Swiss mountains, but you can be sure that it will include the many classics of the modern pop world, from the foot stomping 'The boy does plenty' through to the heart wrenching anthem 'My Lamb Bhuna'.

Written by Chris Moyles and the reclusive David Vitty, many of the lyrics are destined to become embedded in the subconcious of a generation.

Guest artists litter the album like acne on a teenagers face. An incredible who's who of 'A' listers with Camilla Ice, Chuffhunter, and not forgeting Carrie's Cousin and Kanye Westcountry belting out the street wise hit Somerset Boy

Remixed and remastered at the world famous Abbey Road studios in smokey London town, once home to the lesser known band 'The Beatles', this album will become the the benchmark that all future artists will be measured by.

Leave this out of your christmas stocking at your peril, or better still, give this to a friend who needs enlightenment.

Mr. Moyles, we are not worthy .. thank you.

"I FOUND THIS REVIEW VERY USEFUL" - Chris Moyles

"I LIKE IT" - Louis Walsh

"AND FOR THAT REASON I'M OUT" - Duncan Bannatyne

Aled's Guide to the Album5
In February, 1985, a Saviour was born, his name was Christopher Barny Moyles. He came from the Yorkshire town of Sheffield. A hugely successful disc jockey, Mr Moyles quickly developed great catchphrases such as COME OONNN and, I say I say... But Christopher wasn't just a tricky portly pony, oh no, he even climbed Mount Everest with his great friend Jack Osbourne earlier this year.

But never mind all of that history, Chris has now made his very own album, and I can't WAIT til he performs his title track on top of the pops! The album itself features all your favourite singalong songs, including Somerset Boy and even the Dominic-inspired 'Dominic the Christmas Donkey' But thats not all, oh no! Theres 'No Hair' too. As the album builds to a brilliant finale we hear from the likes of 'Stanta' - It's a brilliant tune inspired by Vanilla Ice, what a brrrilliant girlband they were, haaha! But nowhere near the mighty GIRLS ALOUD! (Haha!)

And finally, how could we possibly leave out 'Greatest DJ' by Boyzone? Ronan Keating sees us out with a moving and heart-wrenching version of Moyles's birthday song from last year.

What a treat, what a great CD, but don't just take my word for it...... heerreeesss Imaginery Martin - who rarely EVER talks....

It's MY favourite album don't you know.......!
