A great insight into Europe4
I bought this book to help me plan my travels around Europe for this summer. So far it has helped us greatly and given us a good insight into Europe, the places to go, things to see and do etc. The book has lots of useful information and has definitely given us some inspiration. There aren't many pictures which is a shame, but this just makes more room to pack in even more information (and I suppose the idea is that you go to these places and take your own pictures!). I really like the 'Moving On' section at the end of each city as it really helps you get an idea of how far away other places are (including how long it will take you to get there depending on which mode of transport you use) which is really helpful when planning your route.

From previous travelling experiences I would say these books are fantastic to take with you and to get ideas about where to go etc. but don't base your whole trip on them as there is no book in the world that has all the info - use other methods of research such as the internet as well and you will undoubtably meet people on your travels that will recommend places to go along the way!
